Method Name

Name of placement method to create. Typically, the name is Place unless the method is a secondary placement method.

Workspace

The name of the workspace to add the operations and methods. This option is only shown if the feature is available to all users.

Method Type

One of the available placement methods based on the feature's geometry type.

Use Form View

If checked then properties display in a scrollable pane on the dialog and the items position will be automatically determined.

Show Properties At Placement

If checked, all the feature's properties are placed in the tool setting window during placement. This should be set if the feature uses PBS rules.

Place On

For cell and equipment placement methods. Linear feature on which to place a cell when Method Type is Place Cell On or Place Equipment On.

Place on Property

For cell and equipment placement methods. Property name whose boolean value specifies if cell is placed on linear feature when Method Type is Place Cell On. If property name is not provided, then Place Cell On processing is performed. If a valid property with a false value is provided, then Place Cell Free processing is performed.

The given property is added to the operation properties section for the current feature.

Annotation Options

The toggle buttons in this section define which annotation methods are available for the feature.
